Mick and Tas Fleming play Hawaiian songs.


Inspired by Sol Hoʻopiʻi, Sol K. Bright, Frank Ferera, Sonny Cunha, Kanui & Lula, Lani McIntyre, Gabby Pahinui, Andy Iona and Kalama's Quartet, Mick and Tas Fleming have played their Hawaiian songs at weddings, birthdays, festivals and clubs.


Highlights include supporting Flap! and Mikelangelo and the Tin Star at the Northcote Social Club and playing and delivering workshops at the Melbourne Ukulele Festival, Cygnet Folk Festival and the Emerald Ukulele Festival.


Tas got his first ukulele at age 2, a Dixie Banjo Uke.


He is a long distance member of the Hobart Ukulele Group.



Mick Fleming was an original and founding member of the Captain Matchbox Whoopee Band.


With diverse musical interests Mick has played in many different groups including with CW Stoneking, with Rex McLean, and more recently with the Brunswick Blues Shooters.


Since 1994 Mick has lead the Carpet Alley Jug Stompers a group dedicated to playing the early Jug music of Johnny Dodds, Memphis Sheiks and Gus Cannon.
